One Month!

On 7-28-11, Jackson weighed 9 lbs, 12 oz, and was 21 1\2 inches long.  He gained 3 lbs in 3 weeks! I am surprised that he only grew a half inch, but it's probably because he's just now stretching out.   He's definitely growing!

A friend at Brent's work had a party hat and said it would be a cute idea to put it on him on his month birthdays.  Brent has been taking the 7 a.m. feeding, so while he was awake (and still in the Miracle Blanket) he snapped his picture.  Brent wanted him to frown because he thought it would be funny, but Jackson wouldn't frown this morning.  However, tonight after dinner he got really fussy and we took the opportunity to snap some more shots.  Yes, we were laughing the whole time, but it didn't last but a minute.  You know he's thinking "How in the world did I end up with these jokers." ha! 

Today I had to go back to the doctor for my one-month check-up and everything is fine.  I also got to spend some time shopping and getting a pedicure. Thanks to Gamma for watching the lil man while Mommy enjoyed some "me" time! It was definitely much needed!
